Dr. Amy Dufrane is an internationally recognized corporate executive, HR strategist, and champion for the human side of successful business strategy in the 21st century. She has served as the CEO of HRCI, the world’s premier credentialing and learning organization for the human resources profession.

Dr. Dufrane’s thought leadership on the future of work positions the complexity of the human experience at the center of our evolving economy—and encourages companies to invest in talented human resources professionals who can anticipate and respond to the challenges that their employees will inevitably face.

Dufrane is the co-founder of the podcast Inevitable: The Future of Work, creator of the Alchemizing HR webinar and summit series, and the facilitator, author, and motivator behind The Rise of HR: The Future of Work with 73 HR thought leaders, including Dave Ulrich, Libby Sartain and Bill Schiemann. She holds a doctorate in education from The George Washington University, an MBA and MA from Marymount University and a BS from Hood College. She also serves on the Wall Street Journal CEO Council, is Chair of the Board of the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind, is on the Board for HR Leadership Forum, is a member of the Economic Club and the CEO Roundtable, and advises Certree, a Block-chain based start-up ensuring transparency and privacy in the background check process.
