George Bailey

Senior Vice President - Lockton Companies

George is senior vice president and strategic client adviser in Lockton Northeast’s Washington, DC, office. In this role, he is responsible for leading existing and new client engagements and directing teams in delivering customized solutions and unparalleled services in the areas of employee benefits, retirement, and risk management.

George is a member of Lockton’s National Benefits Executive Committee (EC).  In this role he provides input to the strategic oversight and direction of Lockton’s national benefits business and coordination across the Northeast Series of Lockton.

With nearly 30 years in the industry, George has extensive experience in a range of employee benefit areas across numerous industries including strategy development;  financial reporting, analytics and funding analysis;  mergers and acquisitions; voluntary benefits; pharmacy analysis; international benefits; retirement plans; consumerism and wellness strategies; healthcare reform and compliance; performance audits; carrier negotiations and analysis; private exchanges and benefits technology/administration; and executive benefits.

George joined Lockton in 2016 following 16 years at another large consulting firm.  He began his career at one of the largest health insurance carriers.
