Getting Innovation Right
Seth Kahan, CEO Visionary Leadership

Leaders have great ideas all the time. They are knowledgeable and regularly have insights into their customers' predicaments. They are great at spotting areas for improvement. But great ideas are not enough to get you through the obstacles new ideas, products, and services inevitably confront on their way to successful delivery.

Since 1998 Seth Kahan has worked hand-in-hand with over a hundred leaders and their organizations, large and small. He has been part of innovation initiatives in $20 billion organizations and $10 million enterprises. He has worked in the private sector, public sector, and among associations. From that work he distilled seven key activities that lead to successful innovation. Leaders who do these consistently win in the market with great impact. The seven activities are laid out in Seth's most recent book, Getting Innovation Right, and will be the subject of his presentation.

About the Speaker:
Seth Kahan is an executive leadership advisor, working hand-in-hand with CEOs and executive directors to help them with strategy, innovation, and performance improvement. He has been designated a Thought-leader and Exemplar in Change Leadership by the Society for Advancement of Consulting® and the Center for Association Leadership conferred upon him the title of Visionary.

Seth has worked with over 125 leaders including large scale change programs with Jim Wolfensohn while president of the World Bank, Gaddi Vasquez while director of the Peace Corps, a $20 million initiative with Royal Dutch Shell, and the design of a sales force improvement program for the top producers at Prudential Retirement. He is the founder of AssociationTransformation.com, a community of 50+ association CEOs who are working on the future of member organizations.
