Hector, a recognized thought leader in the field of human capital, provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that Vector Talent Resources has the proper operational controls, administrative/reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the company and ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. He accomplishes this through a respectful, collaborative, constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the company.

He is co-founder of HireStrategy, the top ranked staffing firm in the mid-Atlantic region, successfully acquired by The Addison Group in 2014. At HireStrategy, Hector led and participated in the successful design and build of leadership teams for some of the most visionary organizations in the region.

Hector serves on the board of directors of The SkillSource Group (former Chairman) and is a board member of the Northern Virginia Career Works – Northern Region, a team of private and public sector partners who share a common goal of promoting the economic prosperity and long-term growth of Northern Virginia. He also serves on the board of directors of the HR Leadership Forum (former President).


Hector is a sought-after speaker in the areas of true leadership, diversity, equity and inclusion, career management, talent acquisition and retention. He also dedicates a significant amount of time and energy to associations and trade groups that want to help their members in the areas of career management.


Fun Facts: 

Hector, a lifelong baseball fan, is a lifetime Washington Nationals season ticket holder and you can find him behind first base on any given game day.

He is happily married, his daughter, the reigning VirginiaTech Homecoming Queen, recently graduated with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Spanish and his son is a soon to be graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Brenden Wright, Vice President Human Resources, Veeco

With the right talent and culture, anything is possible. To that end, Brenden develops recruiting strategies and teams that identify and attract top talent within the semiconductor, high-tech, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. His recruiting experience includes leading the global talent acquisition functions for public, not-for-profit, and privately held organizations. Brenden thrives on the most difficult recruiting and selection projects and his expertise spans multiple functional areas with a primary focus on executives, highly specialized science and engineering leaders, and technical contributors.


Before beginning his career in executive search and talent acquisition, Brenden served in the US Marine Corps as a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense Specialist. He was promoted meritoriously twice and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He began his undergrad studies while serving on active duty and completed that work at the University of Phoenix with a BS in Business Management. He later went on to complete my MBA with a concentration in leadership from Loyola University Maryland.


Trish Ferrett, Senior Director, Talent Attraction and Acquisition at Save the Children US


Trish is the Senior Director of Talent Attraction and Acquisition at Save the Children US, an organization of almost 1500 employees focused on children's health, protection, and education at home in the US and around the world. She holds an MBA from the University of Mary Washington with a focus on Organizational Development and Training, and is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Trish also holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Industry and Voice from James Madison University.

Mahreen has a an extensive track record of success designing and implementing a diverse portfolio of programs, including performance management, workforce planning, inclusion, equity and diversity, retention, learning and development, change management, organizational design and development, talent management and leadership development programs.
