Executive Panel & Interactive Case Study

Enterprise-wide change—particularly mergers, acquisitions, and organizational restructuring—places HR at the center of some of the most complex and high-stakes decisions an organization will face. HR executives are expected to move beyond change management frameworks to serve as enterprise strategists, culture stewards, and trusted advisors to the CEO and board.

This program combines a candid panel discussion with an interactive case study to explore how senior HR leaders can successfully lead organizations through mergers and restructuring. Panelists will share real-world experiences, lessons learned, and practical insights into what enables — and derails — large-scale transformation. The session concludes with a peer-based case study discussion, allowing participants to apply insights to a realistic scenario and learn from one another’s approaches.

Learning Objectives:

  • Clarify HR’s enterprise-wide role in mergers and restructuring beyond execution and compliance
  • Identify the critical people, culture, and organizational decisions that shape successful integration
  • Anticipate common risks and unintended consequences during large-scale change
  • Apply practical frameworks to guide leadership, workforce, and communication decisions
  • Strengthen their ability to advise senior leaders and boards during periods of disruption

Key Takeaways:

  • A clearer point of view on how HR can drive value—not just manage change—during mergers and restructuring
  • Practical examples of how senior HR leaders have navigated integration, workforce decisions, and culture alignment
  • Tools and questions to use when advising executive teams during enterprise transformation
  • Peer insights and alternative approaches to common merger and restructuring challenges
