HRLF Program Recap:

Neuroscience and the Art of Fearless Leadership

Presented by: Umar Hameed

January 8, 2016 | Arlington, VA

The HRLF membership learned from expert Umar Hameed how to reach their highest leadership potential by incorporating the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience into their work. The new tools transform individual behavior and team dynamics to build a high performance organization with highly engaged and passionate people who are driven to go above and beyond the call of duty.  Mr. Hameed described three areas where employees tend to get stuck:  beliefs, hot-wiring, and inner conflict.  The audience learned how these terms are defined in the context of reaching leadership potential, and how to address barriers.   The audience learned about the differences between phenomenal teams and average teams, and the power of storytelling.  How to build a highly engaged workforce is a challenge for every organization and for HR leaders, and the presentation brought perspectives on employee engagement that were insightful and provided actionable strategies to overcome engagement challenges.
