As the Director of Human Resources for CRi, Larissa leads all Human Resources functions for the organization, including employee engagement and culture, diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I), total rewards, talent acquisition and employee and leadership development.
Larissa has over 20 years of experience leading Human Resources functions and teams, including employee engagement, diversity, equity & inclusion, talent acquisition, total rewards, employee development, compliance and project management. She has extensive experience supporting not-for-profits, engineering and technology organizations. Most recently, Larissa has held senior Human Resources positions at Bechtel, ARServices and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington.
Larissa holds a BA in Law & Society and a graduate HR certificate from The American University and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Project Manager Professional (PMP). Larissa is the co-chair of the Sponsorship Committee for HRLF. Larissa has been and active leader in the HR community and served on the NOVA SHRM Board for 3 years prior to joining HRLF. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, making cheese and spoiling her educator husband, Mike, and her two uneducated cats.
