Senior Human Resource Director - National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA)
As Senior Human Resources Director, Elizabeth leads the Total Rewards team at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) and is responsible for HR Systems, Benefits and Compensation administration. Being part of an organization that has been repeatedly recognized as a Top Workplace in the Washington area, Elizabeth works to promote NRECA’s vision of embracing the cooperative principles and values; and operating with integrity, transparency and a spirit of innovation.
With over 20 years of Human Resource experience, she has worked in a variety of business environments including industrial, trade associations, regulatory organizations and small minority woman owned businesses. She has experience in employee relations, recruitment, leave administration, benefit plan administration, compensation administration, and system implementations.
Elizabeth holds an undergraduate degree from Hampton University (a historically black college), a Master’s of Business Administration from Marymount University as well as the designations of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).
